International layer admitted to practice both in Italy and France, with an MBA on her Cv, Monica Cembrola has always found in arts a natural fulfilment of her personality, feeling its as her "territory". From years Monica is present at the most important art fairs, she is collector of emerging artists, author of different initiatives: first with An African Art Affair, aimed at the sponsorship of young talents from the African continent; and then with Monica Cembrola for Art Foundation funding fellowships and residencies in collaboration with L’école nationale des beaux-arts de Paris.
In 2017 she curated the artistic installation of the Silver Moon, the new flagship of Silversea, exhibiting more than 500 artworks of Italian artists.
Monica Cembrola does not define herself as a curator, a collector or a philanthropist, but as a "facilitator", committed to promoting art initiatives by commissioning works, curating events, supporting educational programmes, commercialising works of emerging young artists.
Monica Cembrola for Art Foundation may be defined as a synthesis of all of these activities. A project born by years of experience in contact with artists and artworld players, facilitated by Monica's knowledge in the field and her international legal expertise.
Monica Cembrola for Art Foundation
promotes cultural life cooperating with a growing network of emerging
international artists and
moves from the intent to find new ideas in line with the needs of the market and the public, intending to preserve the central role of art in society as an instrument of public utility.
